$100k up for grabs in Massachusetts SBIR START Program

A looming deadline is quickly approaching for Massachusetts SBIR/STTR Participants.  START is a Program funded by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to assist Mass. Companies with SBIR Phase II funding to commercialize their technologies.

The program was created to assist high-growth companies that will grow employment opportunities to promote manufacturing and commercialization, and stimulate innovation across the Commonwealth.

Ten winners will be selected, each winner receives a $100,000 grant.  The program is managed by Mass-Ventures, headed by John Fitzpatrick, the START Program Manager.

The application is approximately 3 pages long, requires an application cover sheet and a 2 page summar of your technology and its commercial potential.

The deadline is this Tuesday April 1st!
